I wanted to try something a little different this Halloween. Instead of a full-blown cake decorating class, we’re doing a Sugar Skull Cookie decorating event! You’ll be provided 6 pre-iced skull shaped sugar cookies with a box to take them home. I’ll have edible markers available for you to use during the class. There will be sample pictures for you to get inspiration from or you can color however you’d like. Cost is $30 per person.

This is for ages 8 and up!!
❗️A guardian must be present for students ages 8-12 in Center Point.
‼️Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by someone over 21 at The Martini Lounge.
The guardian is not required to participate.

The Martini Lounge (1202 3rd St SE, Cedar Rapids)
10/20 (Tuesday) 6:30

Andersen Center Point Library (720 Main St, Center Point)
10/26 (Monday) 6:30
10/28 (Wednesday) 6:30

Register by emailing [email protected]. Please include the date and how many will be in your party. Deadline to register will be 5 days prior to each event.

I will respond to your email as quickly as I can. If you don’t receive a response within 24 hours, please message me through Facebook.

That’s a wrap on the sunflower cake classes! We had a great time and there were no two cakes alike. Such creativity!

So grateful to Candi at The Martini Lounge for hosting our classes!!

Stay tuned for something fun and simple for October!

I know I should post more often, time just gets away from me. Check out some projects over the last few months.

I’d just also like to give a shout out to a few of my cake friends who have come through for me time after time when I needed it most. From hosting classes (Candi), endless questions from when I was a newbie decorator (Anne) and a desperate last minute wedding rescue due to a cancelled flight (Amy)…I owe you all a debt of gratitude!!

If I’m not available to bake for you, I highly recommend these three incredible bakers…

Candi’s Cake Creations - Candi Davidson
Classic Cakes by Design - Anne Mason
Lucy Lou’s - Amy Rechkemmer

Have a sweet week!
