25 pounds of fresh Georgia peaches is a lot of peaches! Here's how we'd use them. 🍑

Fresh eating (the easy part!):
60-65 peaches means you've got plenty to just enjoy. Slice them over vanilla ice cream, eat them over the sink like they deserve, or make a quick cobbler while they're at peak ripeness.

Freeze the rest:
Freestone peaches were made for freezing. Slice them, lay flat on a baking sheet for 2 hours, then transfer to a freezer bag. They'll keep for up to 12 months and taste like summer in January.

Pro tip: freeze them in cobbler-sized portions so you're ready to go all winter long. 🍑

Coffee is regarded as a modern-day indulgence, a luxury item that many consider essential. It would indeed be considered a sacrilege to abstain from it. Historically, however, it was perceived differently, as evidenced by the disapproval it received from Pope Clement VIII prior to his endorsement of the beverage in the 17th century. Until then, coffee was referred to as “Satan’s drink” due to its stimulating effects and origins. The dark, bitter flavor and potent caffeine content led to its prohibition and condemnation as a dangerous substance. The reasoning behind this was rooted in its ability to stimulate extraordinary vitality and mental acuity, which was perceived as malevolent due to its association with non-Christian nations. Before becoming an integral part of daily routines, coffee's complex history began many centuries ago.
