I have to give a couple shoutouts to some local businesses that have helped me keep my doors open and operations running smoothly this month!
Since July 1, our tap-to-pay has quit working, the AC in the restaurant has gone out, and our reach in cooler where we keep all of our milk and smoothie mixes shut down. It’s hard to run a coffee shop without these things! I’m still working on the tap-to-pay, but thanks to Midwest Mechanical and Stateline Refrigeration, our major equipment issues have been resolved!
I called Logan at Midwest Mechanical the day the AC went out. He came right over and spent an entire evening trying to get it operational until we came to the conclusion a new system was needed. The next morning, Phil got to work and spent the entire day installing the new unit so I could get my doors open and keep my employees and patrons from overheating! I cannot thank either of them enough for working tirelessly on this project until it was done.
When my cooler had a meltdown I just about melted down with it. I called several refrigeration repair places and either never got a call back or was told it would be at least a week until anyone could come out. This morning I saw a couple guys at Fareway working on a fridge and one happened to be wearing a shirt that said “Stateline Refrigeration - Moulton, IA” so I gave them a call. Richard sent his guys over within a couple hours and by noon the cooler was operational! The guys were extremely professional and even serviced my other fridges and freezers.
They say it takes a village and Appanoose County has a lot of incredible villagers! I highly recommend Midwest Mechanical and Stateline Refrigeration for any repair needs!
