Every year I can not wait to find time to bake a special batch of Christmas cookies.

It is by far the best Christmas cookie there ever was or will be. I can't even sell them because they don't last in our own home!

Today was little Daisy Mae's birthday party! Fun fact, I was almost named Daisy Mae! So ofcourse I had to make her smash cake! Almost all of smash cakes I make are banana cake with white chocolate whipped frosting! The banana cake taste is even better than the banana bread recipe. It's so moist and you can't get enough of it! Even the adults!

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to make this for not only a beautiful bride but the groom is one of mine and my husband's favorite people! We both had the honor or serving in Iraq with him 20 years ago.

Vanilla cake, one tier with a caramel coconut filling and the other with choclate ganache and all frosted in white choclate whipped frosting.
