Today, we had the honor of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone at The Blue Heron—Mary's 103rd Birthday! 🎉🎂

Mary traveled all the way from Ashland to spend her special day with us, and when her family asked where she wanted to celebrate this incredible occasion, she gave them only one answer:

"Take me to The Blue Heron."

We are humbled and grateful that she chose to spend such a memorable day with our Blue Heron family. Her smile, spirit, and joy filled the room and reminded us that life's greatest moments are best shared around a table with family, friends, and good food.

One year ago, we opened our doors on the banks of the Chickahominy River with a dream, a dedicated team, and a community willing to take a chance on us.

Over the past year, we've shared thousands of meals, countless sunsets, live music, special celebrations, and memories that will last a lifetime. What began as a restaurant has become a gathering place for friends, families, and neighbors.
