As we embrace a refreshing rain craved after a heat wave, we nod to our farmers and gardeners and appreciate respite from oppressive heat. Coming off the holiday weekend, it may feel like a bit of a let down, but us - we enjoy the contrast and opportunity to give you a bright spot amidst grey clouds.

So come grab a dozen bagels for the week, some cream cheese or pop by for a lunch sandwich. Our baked goods are delightful, our salads on point and deli-salads great take-home fodder. Also - Today is a great day to swing by if big crowds aren't your thing as Mondays offer an alternative to the weekend hustle bustle.

It’s been a hot hot HOT time here at The Beach Rose - and it’s been a joy to share it with you 💜 We love seeing the returning faces year over year and to witness the children and families grow. Shoutout to Riley and her friends who said “Remember us?! You gave us tortillas your first year open so that we could do the TikTok slapping trend” - omg! Yes, we do remember!

We are so appreciative to exercise our free will in this way in the service of good food and community - I’ve always loved that about hospitality. When I think about it, it’s one of the most ancient crafts - the art of making someone feel welcomed, listening and being attentive, providing food and good energy. A tangible value exchange between host and guest. It’s not abstract - in the best way. There’s no betting on derivatives or tranching - just the most basic and beautiful simple human exchange.

And I LOVE that we have the freedom to do it. While the Fourth of July reminds me Id love to pay less taxes overall, I am overwhelmingly grateful to still have this beautiful country and the beautiful people within. We are so smitten with you all and appreciate everyone for stopping by and growing with us 💕 happy fourth rose fam 🇺🇸

It’s going to be hot!! We’ve got some fun additions including a misting platform (yes like at the zoo!) outside under the overhang. It might not make for good eating of bagels but will provide fabulous relief, we encourage patrons to use our AC upstairs seating! Also - please if you can order online or at the kiosk upstairs to spare yourself a sweaty and potentially uncomfortable wait!

You may be wondering where you can find a room with awesome AC - and it’s our upstairs living room space! Complete with a changing table for the littles, toys and instruments it’s a casual environment for families to get their good eats and hang. Even a kiosk is up there so you don’t have to wait in what can be a swampy line 😂

When we say casual, it’s true. This isn’t formal dining or diner vibes, but a grab and go spot with the benefit of freshly cooked eggs, slab bacon, homemade sourdough bagels and lunch sammiches. They come in brown bags, perfect for beach take-away because we put the love in where it counts the most - the FOOD!

Also - CARAMEL ESPRESSO BROWNIES are BACK!!!
