Its been nine months since our doors closed. I miss all my customers and the many friendships that were made very much. David and I are good. We have a new grandson, born in August. Had a successfully garden this year and watched ALOT of baseball. I keep busy gardening, hiking, babysitting and doing yoga.
I am catering some and would be happy to be doing more. Peace

As the last night approaches....I think about so many things..the last special board...so many conversations run through my head . Moments shared. Birthday parties, rehearsal dinners.. first dates. engagements...funerals. memorial services and a sink full of dishes. Pies to be made .soups to start. Thanks to so many that believed in us. Bud and June my surrogate grandparents. ...the woman fighting cancer that lived on pot roast for a time. The grandfather that loved our Reuben... Stone and his grandmother who also said we had a great Reuben....The irregulars asking for there regular table. My brother always pulling up a chair. Familily, friends, family friends and strangers who became friends you all made a mark on us and will forever be in our hearts. To the swimming team and church parishioners that got us started. To all my employees that became family. Christiana best waitress ever Rosie bestkitchen helper ever. My niece Sarah queen caterer. To Robin, Sam,Haleigh. All my girls. Love ed you forever..I have been blessed beyond measure to have reached a dream that has impacted me and so many. I can't thank you all enough. May our paths cross again and know we will forever be friends.....💖

Big announcement from The Big Table:

It is with a heavy heart, full of gratitude, that we have decided to close the doors at The Big Table and our last night serving you will be Saturday, December 18th. We will continue to serve our customers in a catering capacity, but the restaurant has become more than we want to keep up in this stage of life. As a true “mom and pop,” we can’t tell you how much the support of our loyal customers has meant to us through the years. For the last 17 years, your loyal patronage has afforded us the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream, but it is time to move on to a new phase of life. We are grateful to our children and grandchildren, family, and friends for their support and the help they have contributed over the years – it has truly been a family business.

We will remain on social media in a catering capacity if you would like to reach us!

It has been our honor to serve you. Thank you for pulling up a chair at The Big Table. Happy Holidays and here’s to 2022.

Just a reminder - Thanksgiving orders should be picked up between 12 and 3 pm today (Wednesday 11/24)!

We will be closed tonight and tomorrow - Wednesday and Thursday - to enjoy the holiday. We will be back open for business Friday and Saturday.
