I drove 2½ hours each way to feed 10 people. And I’d do it again without blinking an eye.

Bernie and his wife Barbara have been coming to Norma’s since before it was Norma’s.

They wanted our food for their daughter’s intimate wedding, and so they asked to pick up the day before. No chance. I made everything three hours before dinner… fought the mighty PA Turnpike and made sure everything was perfect.

I stayed beyond my duties. They made me not want to leave.

After my long drive home, they texted me just to make sure I got back safe.

This is what I said:

“I just got home… I will treasure this experience as long as I’m alive. My connection to you and your family is worth everything. I’m very, very grateful.” 

Indeed, A lot of things are actually OK in the world.
