Chester's Main Street turns into a trick-or-treat route on Halloween afternoon.

Chester Borough's Downtown Trick or Treating and Costume Contest runs Saturday, October 31, from 1 to 4 p.m. along Main Street.

With Halloween on a Saturday this year, it's an easy daylight warm up before the neighborhood candy run that night, and Main Street's shops and restaurants make it easy to stay for lunch.

Bring a bag, a costume and your best pose for the contest.

Daytime trick or treat on Main Street, or save it all for the neighborhood run after dark?
