We are absolutely thrilled to join the lineup for the Ravinia District Food Truck Thursdays all month long. Our team has been looking forward to this series, and we cannot wait to bring our scratch-made flavors to this amazing community event. Ajit: Born in New Delhi, Ajit grew up in professional kitchens idolizing his father, the culinary giant Jiggs Kalra. This exposure shaped his love for the culinary arts. Ajit conceived the idea for Bhoomi with a mission to introduce the American palate to fresh, crave-worthy, grilled Indian kebabs in an approachable way. The recipes used at Bhoomi are adapted from an unfinished book that Ajit and his father were co-authoring, keeping a rich culinary legacy alive.

Sukhu: Growing up in Chandigarh, Sukhu learned to cook at an early age using the highest quality farm-to-table ingredients. She brought her skills to Chicago in 2012, launching and operating a successful food truck business. Sukhu is deeply passionate about social justice and ecological responsibility.
