Tacos & Tequila, presented by Square and US Foods, kicks off Chicago Gourmet presented by weekend on Thursday, September 24 from 6–9 PM at the Harris Theater Rooftop at Millennium Park. Hosted by Chef Rick Bayless, Chef Marcos Carbajal, and Chef Diana Dávila, this celebration brings together gourmet tacos, premium tequila and mezcal, and the vibrant flavors of Mexican cuisine.

Get ready for an unforgettable night of live mariachi, traditional Mexican folk dancers, colorful mojiganga performances, and a DJ set that keeps the rooftop moving. Turn up the heat with an all-star lineup of chefs serving up their taco creations, where food, music, and dance come together for the ultimate Chicago Gourmet kickoff.

Oaxaca’s most famous festival ❤️

Named after Oaxaca’s most iconic festival, La Guelaguetza is our newest cocktail made with Patrón Reposado, Huesped Añejo Mezcal, fresh orange and lime juices, jalapeño syrup, agave, and Angostura bitters.

LA GUELAGUETZA is an annual Oaxacan festival celebrated in July, rooted in a centuries-old Zapotec tradition. Guelaguetza means to share, give and support one another. It’s a celebration where Oaxaca’s eight regions come together through music, dance, food and mezcal to honor their culture.

One of its most iconic moments is the Flor de Piña dance, where women from the Papaloapan region proudly dance with pineapples on their shoulders, celebrating the richness and traditions of their community.
