Was I talking way too fast on Daytime Chicago yesterday? Absolutely. 😂

When you get a chance to talk about something you love, the excitement takes over.

One of the things I was most excited to share is our Club de Chingonas Mercadito happening this Sunday from 12–6 PM at Tacotlán. We’re bringing together an incredible group of women-owned businesses, makers, creatives, and entrepreneurs for an afternoon of shopping, connection, and community.

Four years ago, we partnered with a Puerto Rican restaurant to create our Birria Jibarito, and it quickly became a customer favorite.

Every June, as Chicago celebrates Puerto Rican culture and pride, we bring it back for a limited time. Made with crispy plantains, Muenster cheese, tender birria, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and finished with our garlic oil, it’s packed with bold, savory flavor in every bite.

It’s one of those dishes that perfectly brings cultures together, and a tradition we’re proud to continue each year.

The Birria Jibarito is back through June 30. Come get yours before it’s gone.
