Honest moment... I almost didn't start the WGN series. I felt kinda silly. Who was I to think a news station would care about a small dirndl brand?

But I kept going. Day after day. And you all were so so so supportive and because of your connections, on day 17 my phone rang.

I'm not saying this to brag. I'm saying it because if you're sitting on something you're scared to start... just start. The worst case is nothing happens. The best case is Wednesday April 8th on WGN evening news.

We saw the lovely and amazing Lily Allen last night at the beautiful Auditorium Theater. She has another show tonight. GO! RUN!! DO NOT WALK!!!
She was amazing. It was an amazing show. Got some good merch I will be wearing today.

So we ventured a little west of the restaurant. has been open for 3 months. Very cozy and amazeballs food. Don't get me started on the cheesecake! Owner and staff were so nice. Go check it out! 4100 N Kedzie.

Cold days and cold nights. Winter in Chicago is perfect for a Schneider Aventinus that is now on draft!!

Fritz found some elves to party with and be a bad influence!

Fritz is excited we will be open on Christmas Eve. But also excited that we will be closing early and he can go to parties. We will open at noon, last seating at 8 pm, kitchen closes at 830, last call at the bar at 930.
