Nothing beats a cold draft on a hot Chicago day.
We've got two on tap at Smakosz.

ลปywiec, the classic Polish beer that goes with everything on our menu, and a crisp pilsner from Printerโ€™s Row Brewing , the local brewery we're proud to call friends. They put real care into what they brew, and it shows in every pour. Their pilsner is clean, refreshing, and pairs beautifully with our pierogi, golonka, and just about everything else we serve.

One from Poland, one from right here in the neighborhood. Both ice cold and ready when you are. Come cool off with a draft and a good meal.

These are the Polish classics that never go out of style. Hand-made pierogi, tender goล‚ฤ…bki, our famous Lublin-style pork, and all the comfort food that's kept people coming back for 40 years.

These crispy potato pancakes are calling your name today.

Golden and crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside. Our placki ziemniaczane are made with real potatoes, never any mixes, and fried fresh to order, just the way they should be. Served simple with a dollop of sour cream or applesauce, or go all in with our hearty goulash on top.

Traditional authentic amazing Polish food at Smakosz Restaurant! Tomorrow I drop the video I really enjoyed making because not only was the food top tier excellent (really a destination spot for when you travel to Chicago) but also a heartwarming story. I spoke to the owner who has taken on the restaurant after her much loved father passed. Her heart is in everything I ate and the kindness to everyone in her establishment. It's handmade items from scratch, handmade pierogi, every single ingredient is thoughtful and local. Truly carrying on the legacy.
