Heart of the Healer
Saturday, October 24th, 2026
2:00 pm -3:30 pm
Who cares for the healer?
Through storytelling, reflection, gentle movement, ancestral knowledge, and traditional bodywork practices, participants are invited to explore the importance of allowing ourselves to receive care.
Elements shared will be manteadas, often described as Mother Earth’s Apapacho, a traditional practice that offers a feeling of being held, supported, and gently gathered back into ourselves.
Bring 1–5 rebozos (scarves). Having multiple rebozos allows participants to participate more fully. No one needs to purchase a rebozo specifically for the workshop.
Ancient Wisdom for Modern Living
Saturday, October 24th, 2026
4:00 pm-6:00 pm
Creating a bridge between ancestral knowledge and our lives today. We explore the Four Directions and an elemental medicine wheel, introduce the Tonalpohualli in an accessible way, and explore traditional Mexican foods and plants as part of a larger relationship with nourishment, land, and community.
We will incorporate examples such as amaranto, nopal, and epazote, along with simple movement inspired by Mexican danza.
Meet guest lead Ketzal Cihuatl Diana
A spiritual woman, Mexican dancer, and student and practitioner of Traditional Mexican Medicine.
Diana began her journey as a Mexican dancer at the age of 23. Over the years, she has had the privilege of learning from teachers, elders, and practitioners who have contributed to her understanding of the Mexican
way of life.
