Meeting some old friends and new at A Tavola

Hello friends! It's been a while since I last updated you on what I've been up to, so I wanted to take a moment to fill you in.

Over a year ago, I stepped back from the day-to-day operations at the restaurant, and my CPA, George, took over as the new owner. Since then, he's made incredible improvements, starting with a complete redesign of the patio and even a brand new roof! Our dedicated staff, including Aldo & Eva, and some familiar faces from the past, continue to work hard in the kitchen and dining room, and the restaurant has never been better.

As for me, I've gotten back to my roots and created something new and exciting: a tavola Consulting.

I'm now focusing on the top eight things that restaurants are struggling with today, and I've already helped many struggling restaurants overcome their challenges. In the past year, I've worked as a consultant in about a dozen kitchens, bringing my 27 years of experience at a tavola to their problems, and achieving great success!

Happy Thanksgiving to All! We are grateful for our staff, our loyal customers, new friends and all the celebrations we have hosted in the last 27 years at a tavola!

We are closed today and tomorrow, but will return on Saturday with our regular schedule at 5pm 🍷 🍽️

Chicago is finally ready for summer vibes and patios! Ours is not ready yet as we are still remodeling, but we will be back in a couple of weeks with a renovated space to welcome you all. Stay tuned!
