From opening Chicago’s first wine bar in 1965 to creating one of the city’s most beloved dining traditions, John Davis built more than a restaurant. He created a place where people gather to celebrate, connect, and make lifelong memories.

Our founder, John Davis, recently stopped by to see the progress on our exciting renovation and expansion—and to share the first fondue meal in the new space with his family.

For 61 years, Geja’s has been built on bringing people together around the fondue pot, and it was only fitting that the first meal in this new chapter honored where it all began.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our expanded dining room when it opens to the public in mid to late August. 🧀🍷✨
