❤️ 10 YEARS OF KISHA’S KITCHEN ❤️

Ten years ago, none of this was part of my plan.

Back in 2016, I made a simple loaded potato for a few friends. I had no idea that little potato would change my life. It went viral, and from that moment on, people kept asking me to make loaded potatoes.

One weekend I finally gave in and said, “I’ll make 20.”

Twenty turned into 200.

Two hundred turned into 400.

Before I knew it, people were asking for them every single day.

The truth is… I wasn’t trying to start a restaurant. I wasn’t looking to sell food. Y’all pushed me into my purpose. Looking back now, I know it was all God’s plan.

Then in 2019, I received an inbox message about someone I had never met—a complete stranger—who wanted to invest in me. Honestly, I thought it was too good to be true.

But that stranger believed in me when he didn’t have to.

He invested over $100,000 to help me open my very first restaurant and never asked for a penny in return. Even more incredible, he’s still right here beside me today. Day in and day out, he never misses a beat. There aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for everything he’s done and continues to do. Thank you for believing in me before so many others did.

Then in 2024, I was blessed with the opportunity to open Kisha’s Kitchen 2. That was another reminder that when God has His hand on your life, no door meant for you can stay closed.

Now here I am…

Ten years later.

Still standing.

Still cooking.

Still serving my community.

Still living a dream that started with one loaded potato.

To every single person who has ever bought a plate, shared a post, stood in line, told a friend, prayed for me, encouraged me, or supported Kisha’s Kitchen in any way—THANK YOU.

You didn’t just support a business. You helped build a legacy.

Today was more than just another day in business it was a reminder of what love, loyalty, and community truly look like. Because of each and every one of you, we sold over 1,000 plates during our 10-year celebration. That is absolutely incredible.

Ten years ago, I could have never imagined this journey. What started with a simple loaded potato has grown into something bigger than I ever dreamed, and it’s all because of your support. Through every high, every low, every obstacle, and every victory, you’ve continued to show up for Kisha’s Kitchen.

To everyone who stood in line, placed an order, shared a post, told a friend, or simply prayed for our business—thank you. Thank you for believing in me, my staff, and the vision God placed in my heart.
