Barney's Pizzeria Home of The Buy 1 Pizza, Get the 2nd 1/2 Price. From the beginning, Barney’s Pizzeria offered the famous house special – BUY 1 PIZZA, GET THE 2nd PIZZA ½ PRICE.

In 1993, a young construction worker set out to find a second job or open a small business, in order to support his growing family. He was determined to increase his income so, while awaiting a reply to the many jobs he applied for, he also launched his own pizza delivery restaurant. The young man's name was Bernie and, before long, his customers in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood nicknamed him "Bar

ney." With Bernie's growing success came the need for a new, larger location, and he decided to rebrand as Barney’s Pizzeria. Over the years the simple pizza menu grew with the addition of Chicago favorites, such as Wings, Italian Beef Sandwiches, Flame-broiled Steak-burgers, Hearty Pastas, and even Ice Cream Shakes. Eventually, Bernie's determination and passion for his pizzeria gave him 25 years in business. Great Food at Low Prices, Everyday – that’s the tradition of Barney's Pizzeria.
