Thursday is Beaujolais Nouveau day, but on Armitage Avenue we’re celebrating a little differently.

In the 1980s the soul of Beaujolais was disappearing. Beaujolais Nouveau was at its peak, but it was a bubble gum industrial product made by a couple big producers who were buying up all the grapes and land (cheap) from families who had farmed for generations.

Enter the Gang of Four - Lapierre, Foillard, Breton, Thevenet - four young vignerons who set out to reclaim the terroir of Beaujolais and show the world its greatness. In the process they helped spark the natural wine movement and inspired countless independent wineries across the world to strive for excellence.

Join us Thursday to experience these great wines. And if you enjoy glass specials at all four locations we’ll buy you a commemorative t-shirt! Check for updates from each location for additional specials!
