🇵🇱 THE STORY OF ZAPIEKANKA 🇵🇱

Did you know the famous Polish ZAPIEKANKA was born in Poland in the 1970's and quickly became one of the most loved street foods in the country? Zapiekanka originated in Poland as a popular, cheap street food designed to provide a filling meal during economic downturns, often called "Polish pizza." Made with half a baguette topped with mushrooms and cheese, this open faced sandwich was authorized by Communist leader Edward Gierek through a license for French style bread production. Crispy toasted baguette, melted cheese, delicious toppings and unforgettable flavor. Simple, warm, and absolutely addictive 🤤🔥Today, Zapiekanka is considered a true icon of Polish street food, and at Polish Shack we’re proud to bring this authentic tradition straight to Mount Prospect! 🇵🇱

Order online, pick up in 20 minutes!
We understand how important your lunch time is. Starting Thursday April 23rd we will be accepting online orders for pick up only.
How it works? You go to our store https://cash.app/$polishshackllc , select your favorite food and pay using card or Apple Pay. No hidden fees. Once your order is placed we need about 20 minutes to get it ready.
You can then pick up your food and not waste time in line or waiting at the truck.

Your favorite Polish food available from Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm at Menards Parking lot
