Position 2: Sales & Marketing Manager (Startup Experience Required)
Location: Hybrid / On-site

Compensation: Base Salary + Competitive Commission Structure (Based on experience)
Reports To: Founder / CEO
Position Overview
We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Sales & Marketing Manager to help grow our startup coffee company by acquiring new accounts and expanding brand presence. This role is ideal for a self-starter with proven experience in startup sales, relationship-building, and account development—especially within food, beverage, or consumer goods.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, pursue, and secure new wholesale, retail, and corporate accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth goals
• Represent the brand through outreach, meetings, tastings, and networking events
• Collaborate with leadership on pricing, promotions, and go-to-market strategies
• Track leads, sales activity, and pipeline performance
• Support marketing initiatives, including product launches, campaigns, and brand partnerships
• Provide market feedback to leadership to help refine offerings and strategy
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience in sales and marketing within a startup or early-stage company
• Demonstrated success in gaining new accounts and growing revenue
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a performance-based compensation structure
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in coffee, food & beverage, CPG, or hospitality industries
• Existing network of retail, corporate, or wholesale contacts
• Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking
• Social media or brand marketing experience
