We work hard over here and we don’t get a ton of recognition being the little up island joint that we are, but I could not be more proud of our team for this accomplishment 🥂

We come in every day and work our tails off to make this place what is it, thank you for recognizing us

We can’t wait to see you all in just ONE month 💕

🍽️ Hours will be Thursday through Monday beginning at 5:00. We are closed Tues/Weds through the season. Stay tuned for July 4th week hours/schedule.

🍽️ For groups larger than 4 please 📱☎️ 508-645-9400, leave a message, and we will call you back to help you book. Occasionally, you might find an online booking for a larger group - if you like what you see take it!

Thank you for all the messages of support, for the texts, calls, flowers, chocolates, cookies, and thoughts and prayers. Your support has carried us through this. We are so fortunate to be held by this beautiful community 🙏🏼.

The Chilmark Tavern family suffered a tremendous loss this week. Two of our employees were involved in a terrible car crash, and tragically, we lost one of them. We are mourning the loss of our friend, Micah, and are sending love and condolences to his family and loved ones. We are also sending lots and lots of love and healing energy to Jon, who did survive the accident, and is expected to be ok!!

We are a tight knit crew over here, kind of like family, and we are in a lot pain right now. We will be closed until Saturday 6/25 to mourn, heal, and regroup. We apologize to those who’s reservations we needed to cancel, and ask for your forgiveness and understanding.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the dads out there. Mine was the greatest and it is hard to believe it has been 9 years without him 💫

My father was always a “go big or go home” kinda guy so each year on Father’s Day, in his honor, we bring in some ridiculously large cuts of fine beef 🥩 and put together an over the top assortment of side dishes🍽. As always, our regular menu is also available.
