Closed today to recover. Our kitchen and service team gave everything they had last night. They crushed New Year’s Eve service in the best way, and we’re giving them a well-earned day to breathe. A huge thank you to every one of them for last night and for everything they do all year. They’re the heartbeat of this place.

A lot of guests couldn’t get reservations for NYE. The response to the menu was overwhelming. People raved. So we’re keeping the Special New Year’s Eve Menu for two more nights. We are posting the menu for Friday and Saturday night which will replace our regular menu and available from 4–10pm. If you missed it, this is your chance to try the specials everyone is talking about.

We’re excited to share some big news. Syracuse.com just featured us in “Central NY’s Best Restaurants of 2025” and we couldn’t be more grateful. This community has supported us through every plate, every toast, and every late night and holiday in the kitchen. We’re honored. Truly.

Thank you to everyone who walks through our doors, brings their friends, celebrates with us, and keeps us inspired to do what we love. We’ll keep earning it. One meal at a time.

From the Grotto family to your family, we want to take a moment and wish you a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving! We will be closed today so that our amazing staff can spend time with their families, friends, and loved ones!!

Hope everyone has a day full of food and laughter today. We will reopen tomorrow at 4pm.

Oh, and we have a surprise for everyone that we couldn't wait to share. You asked, we listened. GROTTO IS REOPENING FOR LUNCH!! Yes, starting Monday, we will be open at Noon Monday through Friday for lunch and bar service!! We have a special lunch only menu but you'll have to wait a couple more days to see it.
