It is exciting to take the time, now that we have it, to build our Kitchen Bible by discovering new recipes. As a Chef, the fun part is tweaking recipes found online and adapting them to what I know will produce the best outcome. And of course, there are times I say (or the Family and Friends will say), ā€œIā€™ve never hadā€, ā€œwhat if you did__ to Salmonā€ or I'll randomly mix a little razzle with a little dazzle with Dean in the background and šŸŽµšŸŽ¤ that's AmorešŸŽµ

And I do it one of two ways:

1. I read the comments and based on the reviews I make adaptions.

2. Here's a fun fact about me - - I have Social Anxiety but love each opportunity I have to spend with family. So most of the time I am finding comfort in just listening to conversations. And when Food is mentioned my ears open wide.

The point of that, I dont know, ā€œBehind the Scenesā€ is to say when it comes to choosing the best recipe or building one it's the influence of that helps me become the Kitchen Picasso I am.

The food is what reminds us of the scriptures and puts it into perspective set aside every weight that easily besets us, and not allowing unwholesome talk come out of your mouth. Why just like the song says I need you, you need me, weā€™re all apart of Godā€™s bodyā€¦ I wonā€™t harm you with words of my mouthā€¦ Again J&J soulful eats where food meets family, the word of God, and creating traditions.ā€

Hot Maple Brown Sugar Brine

And yes Hot Sauce, Maple Syrup and Brown Sugar is the flavor profile of these Chicken Thighs.

After an overnight soak, rinse, trim and tenderization they will then be marinated (no salt no cane sugar like the brine) and refrigerated until Friday.
