🤕It’s been a heavy week. 🐾
If you’ve noticed it’s been a little quiet on here this week, there is a big, four-legged reason why. My 4yr old “puppy” Murdoch has been hospitalized since Monday, and to be honest, my world just stopped for a minute.
He’s still not quite ready to eat on his own yet, but his electrolytes are finally improving. We’re celebrating the small victories—like him taking a few bites from our hands! We JUST got the call that he is well enough to come recover at home with his family and we are so so so happy and thankful!
⁉️Apparently a few weeks ago he got into the trash and ate a piece of corn on the cob and it got stuck in his small intestines but wasn’t found at first-so his sodium and potassium and many other important things tanked and he was in critical care and we weren’t sure if he would make (and it racked up quite an unexpected bill 💵)… MOST THANKFUL he is alive and with us and forever grateful for for their EXPERT and LIFESAVING care!
So since the bakery doesn’t stop when life happens swipe to see what else has been getting prepped in the margins. ➡️
Despite the hospital runs and the late nights, Taste of Cincinnati prep is in full swing! 🎶 lemon pound cake pops and so much more! We’re moving a little slower than planned, but we are so excited to see everyone next weekend. Preparing these handmade goodies has been a welcome distraction, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
Thank you for the grace, the messages, and the good vibes for Murdoch. It truly means the world to us. Swipe to the end to see the map of where we are this year and PLEASE help us share and encourage your friends to stop and support us! We need all the help we can get right now 🙏!
See you at the Taste Memorial Day weekend!!!!! ❤️🥘
