She Brews is a nonprofit that equips and empowers women transitioning out of incarceration by providing stable employment, safe and affordable housing, life skills, and mentors. By doing so, we inspire hope, disrupt cycles of incarceration, and restore families.

She Brews is thrilled to celebrate the graduation of a new group women from our program! Throughout their tenure here, these women have shown tenacity as they tackled making huge changes in their lives: sobriety, reuniting with family, developing job skills, and more. In 2025, 12 members of our program earned a high school diploma or GED. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, workers over 25 who do not have a high school diploma have the highest unemployment rate (6.2% in 2024) and lowest median weekly earnings ($738 in 2024) in the workforce. At She Brews, our clients are working to improve their futures, one high school graduate at a time.

At She Brews, our mission is to inspire hope, disrupt cycles of incarceration, and restore families. There are many ways to support our work, like visiting our coffee shops in Tulsa and Claremore, renting one of our spaces to host an event, or donating. There is nothing we love more than coming full circle with graduates of the She Brews program. Maria was once a participant who now runs her own successful bakery, and this week we started a partnership where she is passing those skills on to women currently at She Brews through a brand-new bakery training program. We are thrilled to be working with and look forward to more full circle moments as these skills are put to use in the future!
