HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JAY! 🌿🖤
On his 18th birthday, we couldn’t be more grateful to have Jay as a part of not only our Alter House team, but our Family! His compassion, individuality, and warmth make a lasting impact on all of us every day. Watching him grow and flourish in the workplace, graduate high school, care for Paxton and his friends, and develop into the artistic and intuitive young man that he is has been such a joy and a lesson for us all.
Jay displays a sense of loyalty and compassion towards his fellow team members that we have all grown to admire and adopt ourselves. We can all recall being struck by Jay’s calming energy upon first meeting him years ago, and now he truly embodies what it means to call Alter House a family. Jay shows his passion for music, art, fashion, and the culinary world through self expression that is well beyond his years.
Our family may not be traditional, or common, or even relatable, but these walls truly encapsulate a group of people who are there for each other through thick and thin. Opening our doors to Jay has been more of a gift TO US than anything. The meaning of our altered Family reaches far and beyond what is typically displayed on the surface; it is defined by love, loyalty, and the security of knowing no matter what, we will always have each other. We want to thank Jay for being here with us as a reminder of that.
Jay - happy birthday to you! We are so proud of you, we love you so much, and we thank you for your dedication. We cannot wait to see what you accomplish in this next chapter of your life. We will be by your side through it all, cheering you on through the ups and downs!
