It truly breaks my heart that it's time. I will be deleting Alaska Mike's page. I placed it on hold awhile back. However I am still getting invites to events and likes although the truck had been closed for a good bit now. I put off shutting down the page because it is part of Pop O'Steen - closing the page is only a chapter- he will always be part of our life. Thank you to all that cared all that supported and all that shared in a Bob O'Steen story. Thank you & love you all!

(Angela here) How quickly life changes. This won't be eloquent as it should be -- more informative. Seldom am I at a loss for words - today I am. Pop O'Steen has taken an unexpected and seemingly unrecoverable turn for the worst. We were so hopeful & knowing Bob-o were really expecting some kind of recovery. He is now at home with Hospice care. At home today they have removed his feeding tubes. I will leave Mike to share more detail. The nurse says it could be a day or up to maybe a week before his departure. I'm still hoping knowing how strong he is he will just wake up and tell all to shove it- beat all odds and be around for many more years - essentially I'm praying for more than a miracle - begging for one. I wish I made more time but I'm blessed to say he was part of my family and a Grandfather to Alana. He knew many of Mikes friends from Alaska & from years past. We recently changed phone carriers so anyone friends old or new if you would like Mike's number feel free to message me. I'm sure he would love to swap old stories about Bob-o. We all know how much Mike & Pop O' like to swap stories. Watching the love of your life go through something so painful & be helpless is a horrible feeling. I welcome anyone and everyone who would like to contact him to do so. It's a difficult time but I know he would appreciate knowing just how many people his father has touched.

Exciting news - I have finally been given the go ahead to share. As I'm sure you have noticed we have not been posting a lot of bookings & that is because we have been working on something big in the background. Although I can not share all the details yet the first step is to let you all know we will be putting the food trailer up for sale. We have had a great time, met many fantastic people, learned just how hard our food truck family works to bring amazing products, and also learned so much that we will be able to take into our next adventure. We will be leaving up Alaska Mike's page up for awhile so we can keep you up to date on where you will see us next! We will also be posting some pictures of the trailer and equipment. Update: While we are working on a big project we won't be on the road much. However we will be doing select events throughout August. One of those being tomorrow with one of our favorite guys to do events with Sean Kline. Will be posting flyer so check it out!
