Message: This is a conversation I’ve been having for a while. For our Million and Billion dollar Athletes and Entertainers to raise their children to be Athletes and Entertainers is irresponsible to the Black Community. Why? Because they are blessed with the resources to send their children to the best schools and instead of them steering their children to be big players in the tech industry or the medical profession building and running Hospitals, Schools, Farms and Grocery stores. You know ADDING TO OUR COMMUNITY. We don’t need another Lebron or more specifically Steph ( who may be the ONLY EXCEPTION to my point) but not Seth🤷🏿♂️ or Bronny or lil Melo, and lil Shaq etc. or T.I. You get the point. Shaq for example should own, imo, a Music Distribution Company since no other Black person in the industry can. But he’d rather spend 130 million showing people a good time🤦🏿♂️. We must begin to hold ourselves MORE ACCOUNTABLE✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Sadio Mane, a Senegalese soccer star, earns approximately $10.2 million annually. He gave the world a rude awakening after some fans were flabbergasted when they saw him carrying a cracked Iphone 📱 📱His response was awesome:
"Why would I want ten Ferraris, 20 diamond watches, and two jet planes? I starved, I worked in the fields, played barefoot, and I didn't go to school. Now I can help people. I prefer to build schools and give poor people food or clothing. I have built schools and a stadium, provide clothes, shoes, and food for people in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people from a very poor Senegalese region in order to contribute to their family economy. I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips, and even planes. I prefer that my people receive some of what life has given me."
