bittersweet weekend as we celebrate working with Markus ... we wish him the absolute best in his next adventure; but we're pretty certain he'll be making some guest appearances in the future when needed

Markus has been an integral part of the restaurants since 2020 as an exceptional bartender, server, host, food runner, expeditor, busser (his first official position at El Carnicero) + all around solid human; he made the restaurants special! an incredible personality, tremendous work ethic, with a huge heart + bigger smile; he will be missed by the entire team + all of our guests

tonight he'll be behind the bar + tomorrow he'll pull a busser shift (full circle) to allow all his friends + fans to stop in for "high fives"
