We don't sell burgers, but the point is absolutely clear: quality wins every time, and customers are not dummies.
We've felt pressure to cut costs, and we will always strive to find creative ways do that...but NEVER at the expense of our products' quality.
We could do things like moving to a commercial grade maple syrup vs the organic 100% Grade A Maple Syrup that we have chosen, or replacing our Premium Pure Vanilla Extract crafted with Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Beans with an imitation vanilla flavoring. We could use cheaper nuts and fruits, cheaper chocolate than Nestle, and off-brand peanut butter chips instead of Reese's. But we won't.
There is a difference in taste and in composition that would be noticeable to the people that love the tasty, crunchy, wholesome goodness of our hand-crafted products.
We are absolutely committed to baking and selling the world's best Grinola! 💯
Check out this analysis from fb page Good Financial Cents and tell us what you think about how this applies to your favorite Grinola company, compared to most options you can find on the big stores' shelves:
"Wendy's CEO just publicly admitted what their customers have been saying for years and the business consequences of what he admitted are already showing up in every metric that matters.
New CEO Bob Wright took over in May 2026 and wasted no time diagnosing the problem. In a Wall Street Journal interview and on Wendy's Q2 earnings call he said it plainly.
"We have made some decisions around quality that were rooted in efficiency and cost savings. We have let our value equation erode."
And the market responded to that honesty the same way customers already had.
Here's what the numbers actually show:
- Wendy's fell to THIRD place among U.S. burger chains, behind both McDonald's AND Burger King for the first time
- Six consecutive quarters of DECLINING same-store sales
- The company cut its quarterly DIVIDEND and withdrew full-year guidance after Q2
- Wendy's chicken nuggets have reportedly shrunk to the size of a quarter according to customer feedback
- The American Customer Satisfaction Index ranks Wendy's LAST among the top 20 fast food chains
- Billionaire investor Nelson Peltz is reportedly considering taking the chain private following a massive loss in stock value
Meanwhile Burger King went the other direction.
While Wendy's was cutting ingredient quality Burger King executed a $700 million turnaround initiative investing heavily in food quality and restaurant upgrades. The result: Burger King same-store sales climbed 8.5% last quarter. It overtook Wendy's for the number two burger chain spot in America.
One brand cut quality to boost margins and lost its customers. The other invested in quality and got its customers back."
