Pics from Friday at the food truck rodeo in Cleveland. Had some misunderstandings unfortunately so still a couple more steps for permits. But one down so it is what it is. Sadly it means it will be a few more weeks before we're open

Happy Waffle Day! (I apologize for the late post to my Scandinavian friends as its technically the 26th now)

But for my American peeps. I sure wish I couldve made some waffles for you today. But the good news is we should be open very soon! More to come.

Although it doesn't feel like it this weekend with temps in the 80s (27ish for our Norway friends) it is FALL. Our favorite time of year. Halloween decorations are going up, pumpkins to carve soon, watching the Browns take us to the Superbowl, campfires, and most of all....S'mores!

This is our take on the classic treat topped with cookie butter, toasted marshmallow creme, and chocolate morsels.

Super excited to share with you our sister brand, Broth'l Soups. Periodically we will be serving these soups on the truck, but you'll also be able to find them at other establishments in the Cleveland area, which will be announced at a later time.

What an adventure Norway was. We are grateful for the help from our friends, both old and new. It made purchasing and shipping the waffle irons so much easier and we were able to experience Norway in a different way, going to some places more where the locals hang.

One of those people is Pål. When researching the business, I came across one of his videos and emailed some questions. And more questions. He was always happy to respond and even gave me a list of restaurants to try out more local cuisine.

While we didn't have the time to go on a tour with Pål, we were able to meet up in person and share stories over dinner and some drinks. I had the Kjøttkaker (meatballs - or cakes in this instance).

I will say, however, if you ever do have the chance to visit Norway, I would highly recommend one of his tours. Until then check out his videos

Also had the chance to try waffles. Located on Oslo's busiest boulevard, Karl Johans Gate, they operate out of a small trailer near Oslo Central Station.

I enjoyed seeing their on-the-go approach and style to accommodate the hustle and bustle of this area.

I also love their logo too!
