Big shoutout to Patrol Officer John Cho, the Cleveland Police Foundation’s Police Officer of the Month for April 2026! 🥳👮‍♂️

If you’ve ever grabbed a bite or done your grocery shopping at the historic West Side Market, chances are you’ve seen Officer Cho keeping watch. As a 27-year veteran of the force and Cleveland’s very last single officer foot beat patrolman, he’s a true neighborhood staple. He grew up right around W. 120th Street, so protecting this community is personal to him!

Whether you're a local vendor, a regular shopper, or a tourist visiting CLE, Officer Cho is always ready with a warm smile and a friendly conversation. He shows us exactly what community policing is all about every single day.
