Hi, Sips family.
It is with deep sadness that we share that Sips owner, Grant Gertiser (pictured on the right), lost his father, Mark Gertiser (pictured in the middle), after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mark was witty, a little stubborn 😉, and deeply loved by his family. While Grant is experiencing the unimaginable pain of losing his dad, his mom, Melissa, is now facing the heartbreaking reality of losing her partner of almost 30 years.
To honor Mark’s memory and help support Melissa during this incredibly difficult time, 100% of the proceeds from Sips TOMORROW, Saturday, July 11, will be donated directly to her.
We also want to recognize our incredible Sips team, who immediately stepped up and volunteered their time to work the trailer that day so we can be with his family. Their kindness, compassion, and selflessness mean more than words can express, and we are so grateful for each of them.
Our community has always shown up in the biggest ways, and we are incredibly thankful. If you’re able to stop by tomorrow, we’d love to see you. If you can’t, we would greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers for Grant, Melissa, and the entire Gertiser family as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
