Father’s Day Weekend at Clifton Marina 💙

This weekend, we celebrate the dads, grandpas, stepdads, husbands, and father figures who show up, work hard, love deeply, and give so much of themselves every single day.

Fathers are the steady hands, the quiet strength, the teachers, the protectors, the jokesters, and the ones who create memories that stay with us forever. They deserve more than just one day — they deserve a whole weekend of good food, family, laughter, and time together on the Tennessee River.

🚤 Important Boater Safety Update for Alabama Waterways

Alabama boating laws have changed, and anyone traveling through Alabama waters should be aware. Effective October 1, 2024, non-residents operating a vessel on Alabama waterways must have a valid boater safety certification from their home state/country or obtain an Alabama Nonresident Boater Safety Certification. Alabama also requires motorized vessel operators to be properly licensed/certified, with age restrictions for younger operators.

With many boaters traveling the waterways through the fall — including Great Loop travelers and anyone moving a vessel through Alabama waters — now is the time to make sure you are prepared and compliant.

Clifton Marina will be offering a Boater Safety Class for all ages:

We strongly encourage anyone who may be boating, traveling, or moving a vessel through Alabama waterways to attend. Safety education protects you, your passengers, and everyone sharing the water.

We are also working with TWRA to see if we can offer additional classes in September for Loopers and other boaters traveling through our area this fall.

Please help us spread the word and take the time to get informed before you get on the water.
