2003 – 2026
We got the word today that Hook's Pub & Grill is a total loss, so it's with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Hook's Pub & Grill.
Born in 2003, Hook's wasn't just a neighborhood bar—it became a second home. For more than two decades it served ice-cold beer, legendary burgers, late-night laughs, countless celebrations, and a place where strangers became friends and friends became family.
Hook's survived changing times, snowstorms, pandemics, economic ups and downs, and everything life could throw at it. It proudly earned a reputation where everyone had a seat at the table and nobody was treated like a stranger.
It leaves behind thousands of unforgettable memories: first dates, championship celebrations, birthday parties, weddings, reunions, fundraisers, trivia nights, music bingo, karaoke, live bands, endless stories that grew a little taller with every telling, and a community that always showed up for one another.
Hook's is survived by its loyal customers, dedicated employees—past and present—musicians who filled its stage with life, vendors, neighbors, and the countless friends who proudly called it "home."
Although the building may soon be gone, the spirit of Hook's refuses to be buried. It lives on in every laugh shared across a bar top, every song sung a little too loudly, every friendship it helped create, and every person whose life was made better because they walked through its doors.
In lieu of flowers, raise a glass, tell an old Hook's story, tip your bartender generously, support your local small businesses, and never take a good neighborhood bar for granted.
The final call has been made. The lights have come on. The stools are empty.
But the memories will never close.
