250 Pumpkin or Apple Pies
Turkeys & Pies baked in disposable pans please
Volunteers: As always this takes about 200 volunteers each year.
Wednesday, November 25th
Pie Cutters, Boxers and Roll Baggers
Dishwasher
Thursday, November 26th, Thanksgiving Day
Serving Line Personnel, Baggers, Dishwashers, Delivery Drivers and cleanup staff.
If you'd like to donate a turkey, pies, volunteer to help call Turkey Central at Clinton Flower Shop 660-885-6921.
Meal Reservations for the DELIVERED MEALS will begin on November 2nd. No reservations are needed for the dine-in dinner that will be held at the Eagles Lodge on Thanksgiving Day

Join our leadership team!

We are looking from a motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will help run our daily restaurant activities. You will lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, manage inventory, and step in for the general manager when needed. Your goal is to keep service smooth, control costs, and create a great experience for every guest.

Job Duties included but not limited to:
Buffet & Food Quality Management
Monitor food rotation and line freshness to ensure dishes meet quality and appearance standards.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to sync food production speed with guest flow, preventing long wait times or overproduction.
Enforce strict food safety protocols, ensuring proper temperature are maintained through the shift.
Maintain station cleanliness, making sure sneeze guards, serving utensils, and food tags are clean and properly placed.

Team Leadership & Staffing
Train and onboard new employees and shift leaders.
Supervise staff performance and provide daily coaching.
Manage conflicts and address employee concerns promptly.

Operations & Guest Service
Ensure smooth service during peak hours by actively supporting the floor.
Handle customer complaints with empathy and quick problem-solving.
Enforce health and safety regulations, cleanliness standards, and food safety rules.

Inventory & Administration
Handle daily cash drops, POS reconciliations, and shift reports.
Manage high-volume food waste by tracking leftovers and adjusting portion or production plans.

The Turkey Talkers are Gobbling getting plans made for The 38th Annual Henry County Community Thanksgiving Dinner 2026 on Thanksgiving Day. We will once again be looking for all types of volunteers to once again be a part of this very special event. We will be looking for Baked Turkeys/Turkey Breasts; Pies, Volunteers to help wrap rolls, cut and box up the pies, serve up the to-go meals, wash dishes, delivery drivers to help deliver the meals all across Henry County. Dear DFB Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Bobby “BJ” Allen.

He was an icon of Dietz/Golden Corral since 1989, known lovingly as The Legend. He was always kind and welcoming to everyone that came in. He would tease anyone that was a football fan of any team but his beloved Cowboys. Especially after the November game when the Cowboys beat the Chiefs. No matter how tired he was, if we were down someone in dish, he went back there to help or come in on his day off, up until his final weeks.

None of us know this restaurant without him, as he preceded my ownership. He was one of a kind and there will be a huge void in the restaurant now.

Our thoughts are with his family in this difficult time.

Rest in Peace Legend.
