For funsies today I tried looking up what the official dessert for 4th of July might be. What did I find out? There isn't one 🤷 So let's just make one! How about individual Boston Cream Pies! While Boston wasn't where the declaration of independence was signed July 4th 1776 they WERE the first ones to make it a national holiday in 1781 THEREFORE you should order individual Boston Cream Pies from me. I'll even put a lil flag in 'em $5 each 😉 Remember Lemon Pound Cake (haha)? They will be that size.

A New Chapter for Cake Fantasies by Ashley

After a lot of thought, I want to share some exciting — and bittersweet — news.
At the end of 2027, I will be retiring from Cake Fantasies by Ashley and beginning a new chapter in both my career and my life.

Many of you know that my position with AutoZone was originally intended to be temporary and simply a way to help out. Over time, however, it has grown into something much more than I ever expected and has opened doors to exciting opportunities for my future. After careful consideration, I have decided to pursue those opportunities while thoughtfully planning my transition out of the bakery business.

I also want to reassure everyone that this decision is not because Cake Fantasies by Ashley is struggling or because the business has failed. Quite the opposite — I am incredibly proud of what we've built together.
Since 2019, I have had the privilege of being part of your weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, baby showers, and so many other special moments throughout Clinton and the Quad Cities. Your support has allowed me to turn a passion into something truly special, and for that, I will always be grateful.

I will continue operating normally and accepting orders through December 31, 2027. However, I will no longer be accepting 2028 wedding bookings as I begin planning this transition.
My hope is to find the right person to continue the Cake Fantasies legacy beyond my time as owner. Over the next 18 months, I will be exploring opportunities to transition ownership so this business can continue serving our community for years to come.
This is not goodbye. We still have many celebrations ahead of us, and I look forward to making these final seasons some of the very best.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for every order, every recommendation, every shared post, and every milestone you've trusted me to be a part of. Your support has meant more to me than you'll ever know.
Here's to an exciting new chapter — both for me and, hopefully, for the future of Cake Fantasies by Ashley. ❤️
