Sometimes the sweetest things we serve aren’t on the menu. ❤️

This week we received the most incredible letter from Scarlett, a 5th grader at Sugar Creek Elementary in Waukee. Her class assignment was to write an opinion essay about the best restaurant and she chose Monarca. 🦋

One line in her essay completely melted our hearts:

“Once you step inside, the air will make you feel like you’re in the sky.”

Moments like this remind us what we do what we do. As a small family-owned business, creating a place where families make memories, kids smile, and the community feels welcome means everything to us.
