Hello, friends and family of Gazali’s! As you know, Gazali’s has been in the Des Moines Metro area since the 80s!.
Like most businesses, we have experienced our ups and downs. However, this new location has proven to be far more difficult than any we have experienced before. Despite being voted best gyros in Iowa for 2023 via Tasting Table (the best gyro you can find in every state) Magazine, we are suffering from lack of patronage.
Our food is great, our staff friendly and helpful. We strive for consistency. And as always, we cook from the heart, not the freezer!
Unfortunately, Gazali’s has, with a broken heart, closed our doors. We are the most recent casualty in this location. Quizno’s, Pitta Pit, and Yesway Kitchens. We are not sure if is the busy Hickman corridor that makes it so difficult to get in or out. Please keep an eye on our website. Like the phoenix, we will be reborn.
