In these trying times, please do not forget our veterans and caregivers by being there with phone calls, text messages and emails. By just asking if there is anything that you could help them with, even if it is to go get some supplies, will help someone have a better day and let them know that someone really cares. You can help their state of mind and physical well being by just having a conversation with them and breaking up a mundane day and providing them with a sense of connection to the outside world. Go back in a few days and check on them so you can keep the connection going, by doing so you have gain a new friend and so have they! Just take the time to care!
