We invite you to join our Harris Ranch family in honoring what would have been Mr. Harris’ 83rd birthday. We remember John as a visionary in agriculture, a leader in the horse racing world, a steward of the land, and a generous supporter of his community. But above all, he was a man of principle, purpose, and heart.

John had a zest for life that was infectious. He was forever the optimist, always seeing the good in people and the bright side of any challenge. He was genuinely happy - not because life was perfect, but because he chose to find joy in every day. Whether walking a field, watching a race, shaking hands with a stranger, or lending support to a worthwhile cause, he was fully present and deeply engaged.

Today on his birthday, as we reflect on his life, we are reminded of the values he lived by: faith, service, humility, perseverance, and grace. We are proud to honor John C. Harris’ legacy as a true California icon, forevermore.
