SWEETIES, WE HAVE A LOT OF NEW FACES AROUND HERE! So, letās introduce ourselves!
Weāre Johnnie and Shawn, the husband-and-wife team behind Something Sweet. We own it, operate it, bake it, and do just about everything else that happens within these four walls. If it happens here, chances are one of us is responsible for it!
In March of next year, weāll be celebrating 24 YEARS IN BUSINESS! Thatās almost 24 years of sugar, butter, flour, and a whole lot of love.
LETāS CLEAR UP A FEW THINGS!
OUR HOURS
Weāre open Wednesday through Saturday every week, unless we decide we need to run for the hills for a little breather. Donāt worry, if weāre closing for an extra day, weāll announce it everywhere ahead of time.
And yes, weāre closed three days a week. But if you think we arenāt working at least two of those three days, youāve never owned a food establishment! Trust us, the work doesnāt stop just because the doors are locked.
EVERYTHING IS MADE IN-HOUSE!
And we mean EVERYTHING! We bake it all right here, fresh in our own kitchen. We donāt have a set menu because our daily menu changes every single day. My brain is constantly dreaming up new things, and apparently, it has no off switch!
CAKE AND DESSERT ORDERS
We stopped doing decorated cakes and cookies back in 2016, and that hasnāt changed. However, we DO accept orders for cakes and other desserts!
We prefer at least one weekās notice, although we can sometimes squeeze in a last-minute order. The key word is sometimes. Please donāt be upset if you call at the last minute and we have to say no. We can only do so much with the time and hands we have!
HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER FROM OUR DAILY MENU
Every morning at 8:30 AM, our daily menu is posted right here on Facebook. Once it drops, you can call us to place an order for items youād like us to hold for you.
You have until closing time that day to pick up your order.
Now, a couple of important things about our hold system:
ā¢ You MUST speak directly to Johnnie or Shawn. Please do not leave your order on the answering machine. Orders left on the machine will NOT be filled.
ā¢ Our hold system operates on the honor system. If you tell us youāre coming to pick up your order, weāre counting on you to follow through. When you donāt show up, weāve held products that could have gone to someone else. And yes, that may affect whether we can hold items for you in the future.
ā¢ If we hold an item for you and it sells out to everyone else before you arrive, you cannot change your mind and decide you no longer want it. We held it specifically for you, and we may have been able to sell it a dozen times over. Please be considerate of our time and our business, just as weāre considerate of yours!
DO WE SELL OUT EVERY DAY?Nope,But certain items can sell out pretty quickly, depending on the day and whatās on the menu. If thereās something you absolutely have your heart set on, give us a call early!

Do we absolutely LOVE what we do? YOU BET WE DO!
This little bakery has been a huge part of our lives for nearly 24 years, and we wouldnāt trade it for anything. We put our hearts into what we make, and we hope you can taste that love in every single bite.
Weāre so happy to have all of you here, whether youāve been with us since the beginning or just found us yesterday!
