Pahaska Tepee

Pahaska Tepee Pahaska's season runs from May 8th until early October. Open daily during summer months. The main Lodge houses a full service Restaurant, Tavern and Gift shop.

Pahaska has been the principle Lodge near the East Entrance of Yellowstone Park on the Cody Road to Yellowstone since 1904. Modern guest cabins are located in the forest behind the lodge. Trail rides are available June through August. Open for free tours in July & August, Buffalo Bill's original Lodge is still standing and is listed on the National Historic Register.

Happy Mother's Day to my mother who took over here at Pahaska in 1946. She frequented Pahaska her entire life growing up with a family cabin 5 miles down the Cody Road to Yellowstone. In the 1930's, Peg frequently went night skiing with her father Ernie Shaw on Wednesday nights at Pahaska. Her life was always centered on Pahaska, the Buffalo Bill Museum, and Cody country. she oversaw most of the improvements here at Pahaska over the years. She was asked if she always lived in Cody for her entire life, her reply, "not yet." My mother passed away in Cody in 2006.
