****Lazy D Test Kitchen Report****
Everything started out spotless. Bowls were lined up. Ingredients were measured. Countertops were clean.
Then I forgot to put the cup on the food processor. Then I forgot to latch the shaker lid.
Now the kitchen looks like it lost a fight with a bag of flour.
On the bright side...the recipe is getting closer.

After running nonstop since March 7, we finally had our first Saturday off today.
No crawfish. No fryer. No smoker. No trailer.
Instead, we spent the day building a gazebo. Turns out we're just as good at arguing over instructions as we are over recipes. 😆
It felt strange not hearing timers going off every five minutes, but it was nice to spend a day working on something just for us.

Lazy D Test Kitchen Releases Preliminary Crab Claw Findings
After extensive research, heated debate, and what can only be described as "an unfortunate culinary incident," the Lazy D Test Kitchen has narrowed the field of crab claw breading recipes.
Results are as follows:
🦀 One recipe has emerged as the clear front-runner. It isn't perfect yet, but with a little seasoning assistance, it has serious potential.
🦀 Two additional recipes have officially been placed on the "Thanks, but no thanks" list due to a noticeable lack of flavor. They weren't bad... they just weren't worth talking about.
🦀 The fourth recipe has been classified as a total loss. Investigators have determined it should never be spoken of again. Out of respect for those involved, names will not be released. The recipe has been quietly escorted from the premises and denied future access to the Test Kitchen.
The search continues. Our standards remain unreasonably high, and until we find a recipe worthy of the Lazy D name, the crab claws remain under development.
