Sometimes in life, God places people in your path that don’t feel temporary. The kind of people who feel familiar from the very beginning… like you’ve known them forever. The kind of souls that walk into your little corner of the world and somehow make it softer, brighter, and more beautiful just by being themselves. The kind of people that touch you on a soul level, feel like home, and leave you better than they found you.
That’s exactly what Mr. Steve and Mrs. Kari have been to all of us here at Barefooted Hippie.
Today is a bittersweet day as we send these two beautiful humans off on their next adventure. While our hearts are a little heavy, they are even more full of gratitude and love. Thank you both for every daily visit, every coffee conversation, every laugh, every heart-to-heart, every meal shared, every church service worshipping side by side, and most importantly, the genuine love and kindness you poured not only into us, but into this entire community.
You didn’t just visit the Hippie… you became part of its heartbeat.
Some people pass through places. Others leave fingerprints on the soul. You two brought peace, warmth, wisdom, joy, and love into every room you walked into, and this place will forever carry a little piece of your light. God truly knew what He was doing when He allowed our paths to cross, and we will always be thankful for the blessing of knowing you both.
But around here, we don’t really believe in goodbye. We believe in connection, prayer, love, good energy, and “see you later.” 🤍✨
May the Lord continue to guide your steps, protect your journey, and surround you with the same love you so freely gave to everyone around you. May your road ahead be filled with peace, wildflowers, safe travels, good coffee, belly laughs, and the kind of joy that only comes from a life lived with love.
