I goofed up! Today's special was suppose to be Chicken fried STEAK however, in my haste to post and not be distracted by something shiny, I put CHICKEN. So, today you get a choice of either 🤷🙃 Happy Saturday All ❤️

The Granny Basketball Extravaganza is going to be an amazing night of fun and supporting some great causes. We want to say thank you to our friends at Niland's Cafe in Colo for sponsoring the event. There is a special family connection - Kelsey Reed, who manages the cafe, hotel and historic landmark - is the granddaughter of Carol who plays with the Mustangs, and her brother in law is a deputy with the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, Iowa. We appreciate Kelsey reaching out and supporting the event.

You can support the event too by coming and cheering on our Hometown Heroes and Grannies!!!

When: Saturday, Nov. 7
Doors open 5:30 p.m.
Tip off 6:30 p.m.
Where: Berg Middle School
Admission: FREE WILL DONATION

The night will feature a Mustang Grannies Scrimmage Game featuring the Jasper County Grannies and their friends from across Iowa. The main event will feature Hometown Heroes taking on the Grannies. Along with the dessert auction there will be a special Newton Pacesetters halftime show!!

It's gonna be a great night. Mark your calendar!
