We are truly overwhelmed by the love and support our community has shown after this weekend. Seeing so many people share our post and offer to help has been incredibly humbling.
To everyone who has reached out asking if you can help cover the cost of the burritos—thank you. Your generosity means more than words can express.
As a family, we are blessed to be in a position where we can donate the food ourselves. We don’t want recognition or reimbursement. Being able to serve our community is a privilege, and it’s simply our way of giving back.
If you feel called to help, we ask that you please direct that kindness toward the people who need it most: the families who have been displaced by these devastating wildfires and the firefighters who continue to put their own lives on the line, working around the clock to protect our communities.
If you’re able, consider donating bottled water, sports drinks, energy drinks, protein bars, nonperishable food, toiletries, clothing, pet supplies, or other essential items. Every contribution, no matter the size, can make someone’s day a little easier during an incredibly difficult time.
Colorado has always shown that when times are tough, neighbors take care of neighbors. Let’s continue to stand together, support one another, and show our gratitude to the brave first responders and the families facing unimaginable challenges.
From our family at El Super Taco, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of this amazing community. God bless all of the firefighters, first responders, volunteers, and every family affected by these fires. Please continue to keep them in your prayers. ❤️🙏
