From the dish station of a barbecue shop to leading dining operations across the country, Quintin Eason has spent nearly 24 years building a career rooted in hospitality, people, and leadership.

Now, we're excited to welcome him as Upper Crust Food Service's new Chief Operating Officer.

With experience leading multi-state dining programs and developing more than 200 leaders, Quintin brings a people-first approach and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.

In the months ahead, he'll be spending time in our houses, on campuses, and at camps, connecting with our teams and partners, listening, learning, and identifying opportunities to make the dining experience even better.

A few weeks ago, we traded our usual dining spaces for an evening at the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens with some of our Upper Crust partners!

Giraffes, manatees, up-close animal encounters, great food, and even better company. It was a chance to step away from the day-to-day, share a few laughs, and enjoy an evening together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens team for being such wonderful hosts. We're grateful for the friendships and partnerships we've built along the way!

We loved being part of Alpha Phi's Mac N Phis philanthropy event, serving up plenty of cheesy goodness with all the toppings to make it your own.

A big thank you to the Alpha Phi sisters for having us and to our incredible team for helping bring it all together. This is what we love about Greek life!

Most colleges don't know how much of their waste stream comes from the dining hall until someone actually weighs it. At one university, dining accounted for 80 to 90 percent of everything the university collected as waste. That number holds up across campuses of every size, which means dining is often the single biggest lever a college has for hitting sustainability goals.

Small changes can carry a lot of weight. The two initiatives with the clearest results don't even require new construction or a major budget line.
